Made in Acadiana: Stuller founder & CEO stepping down from some duties | Local

LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — Matt Stuller, the founder, CEO, and chairman of the board of Stuller, Inc. sent a letter announcing leadership changes starting in 2026. He said he is stepping down from his role as CEO.

Below is the letter:

Dear Team Stuller,

As we are approaching the all-important Christmas selling season, I want to take a moment to update you on a few leadership changes that we will implement January 1st of 2026. As the Founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of Stuller, Inc. one of my responsibilities is to ensure that we have adequate long-term succession plans in place as our company moves through the coming years. As a family-based business owner I have always taken pride in creating opportunities for growth within the company when possible. Today’s announcement follows that desire and maintains stability as we go forward.

As these transitions take place I will stay actively involved in the strategy and operations of Stuller Inc. and its ongoing mission to serve our customers while building the best company in the world; therefore, I will remain engaged with the organization as Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board.

Danny Clark, our current President, will assume the responsibility of CEO. During his sixteen-year tenure with Stuller Danny has demonstrated his ability to lead our company through multiple challenges while serving our customers and employees equally. Danny will continue to report to me, and I look forward to supporting him as he takes on this new challenge.

In addition, Belit Myers our current COO, will be promoted to President and COO of the company. Belit has learned the inner workings of the organization from the ground up, beginning her career in Fulfillment over two decades ago while a student at ULL. Belit’s understanding of the connective tissue between functions combined with her ability to bring teams together will serve her well as she assumes additional responsibilities. Belit will continue to report to Danny in her new role.

My enthusiasm for the jewelry industry and the critical role that Stuller plays today, tomorrow, and in the future is higher than ever. I am proud of everything we have accomplished together and excited about what comes next. Together we are building a brighter future for our company, each of you, and the customers we serve all over the world.
